Descending in the Night

Aranea wouldn't argue as Tamsyn offered to move closer to the entrance to rest for the night. She'd follow willingly, careful not to bump into her in the darkness of the caverns. As Tamsyn found an ideal location, Aranea would help by collecting some vegetation herself and adding to the stone surface that Tamsyn had padded. She couldn't admit she felt a little uncomfortable sleeping so close to a stranger but the woman was hardly a stranger anymore. At least her own small frame wouldn't take up too much space and she tried not to touch Tamsyn whether the other woman cared for it or not.

Unfortunately for Aranea she wouldn't rush into sleep so quickly. She wouldn't rustle or move around though, just laying with her chin on her paws and listening to all the tiny noises around them. How embarrassing would it be for her to fall asleep and wake up in a usual nightmaring panic beside the woman? It was dragging on her mind and after a long while she wouldn't even noticed when she fell into slumber.
