You never seen the rain

Knowing that her venture to Valhalla wasn't common knowledge Hanako was quick to form an excuse. It wasn't all that unusual to see her splayed out on the beach so that seemed like the best bet and a likely place to burn her nose to a crisp too. She did feel a little guilty about lying, it wouldn't have bothered her except that Sedna- as far as Hanako could tell- had always been pretty upfront with her. They were friends, or pretty close to it, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad if she- nope! Sirius had told her to keep her lips shut and so she would. It was final.
"I was at the beach and I closed my eyes for a second and this happened! It's so unfair!" She whined, as she followed the healer along, drawing out her words as though she was a pup who hadn't gotten her own way.
Plonking herself down on her rear, Hanako sat still like a good patient as Sedna dug around for whatever she was looking for. The art of healing was well and truly lost on her but she was glad that someone around here knew what they were doing. Looking at the shell, Hanako wrinkled her nose- and winched- at the thought of dipping her nose in the water. Sure, he could see why it would help since the water was cold and her nose hot but- fine, if Sedna said it would help then she was inclined to believe her. Holding her breath she dipped in and pulled out, water droplets rolled down her muzzle as she spoke.
"So what are you making? It won't hurt will it?" Surely she'd suffered enough.
