Magnus was ready to test the girls strength and knowledge in the art of battle. While he wasn't a warlord himself, he knew his way around the battlefield and would hopefully be able to give Sirius some good news about this girl. They needed good warriors in the Armada and there was no such thing as too many. Better to be over prepared than under prepared if something were to happen.

It didn't take but a second for the girl to lunge towards him, her shoulder jutting out to make contact with him. Magnus braced for the impact, his legs spread wide and head lowered a bit. He moved his own left shoulder down a bit to hopefully make contact with her as she ran into him, yet still felt the sting of her teeth against the flesh on his neck. Magnus hissed and pulled himself free of her teeth just to reach down and snap at her rear left leg, hoping to grab it without much injury to the flesh.
