Eyrún’s grin was contagious as she spoke of her gods that favored action over quiet prayer. It certainly seemed like her kind of religion - not that she had really experienced or heard about any others besides this one. Getting out and doing something was most certainly more her style than just sitting around and hoping that something was going to happen so at least that was something that these gods had going for them. It wasn’t really like she was out here looking for gods to follow, but it was interesting to hear about them and she respected the belief of them if nothing else. She hummed thoughtfully when Eyrún explained that there was a god for everything since they were responsible for everything. In that way it made sense and she found herself nodding along in agreement as her gaze drifted over the landscape around them. All of this had to come from somewhere and if others wanted to believe that it was the gods that made all of this come to be then she didn’t see anything wrong with that. It was as good an explanation as anything she supposed. When her explanation moved on to cover how the had learned about them in the first place Elise brought her eyes back to the light colored woman in front of her. She supposed it made sense as well that something like this would have been taught to her growing up and therefore would have stuck well in her mind. It was probably similar to how she still remembered and followed all the manners and family stories her father had taught her as a pup and still exhibited a lot of those things without really thinking about it. This had all been an incredibly interesting and thought provoking lesson, but the fun-loving red head couldn’t help the little flirtatious quip that came to mind. She grinned a little as she asked, "And which of your gods is responsible for how beautiful you are?” |
