“Yes.” he said, smoking down at the happy Princess as she lay soaking in the warm water. She tilted her head back without hesitation, and he brought the we spunge down between her forehead and down past her ears, rubbing gently the places of her forehead he knew could often be tense and tight. He also rubbed gently around her cheeks, and swiped carefully a couple times beneath her eyes. There would be no hint of redness that came from crying, he would make certain of that.

He was leaning over her, concentrating on his work when she pressed a kiss into him. He startled at the touch, his eyes flicking to hers as heat infused his body. What did she do to him? She twisted his insides in all sorts of strange new ways. For a moment he hovered, frozen, above her. His lips gently parted in surprise, before he smiled, and leaned down. Returning the gesture as he placed a soft kiss on her lips. As he did so, his paws moved behind her ears, gently applying massaging pressure.
