Fitz looked up as the other wolf approached.  While he didn’t feel a need to eat anymore it was still his and filling his belly more wouldn’t hurt.  Fitz stepped over his kill so that he was in between it and the new wolf.  A warning in his gaze and a twitch of his lips at first but then thinking better of it.  He wanted to lure her in right?

“My goal is only to fulfill the role my deity Nytalen has set before me.  I only ask him for his aid to make sure the path is available to please him.  It’s quite a humble request when you consider it that way.  Nytalen has chosen to judge wolves who have ignored or forgotten him.” The words were said with the tone of a teacher educating a new student.

Fitz seemed to naturally calm himself as he spoke of Nytalen, clearly his favorite subject, “Wolves have forgotten the one who helped them become, and a number have even done their best to remain weak it seems.” Some wolves had grown so interested in subjects like healing they never even took on education in fighting.  Ridiculous.  “What of you stranger? Have you heard of Nytalen, and would you label yourself strong?  Worship him and you will gain more strength.” Fitz was working at becoming more charismatic as he met new wolves, trying to gauge the best way for his words to strike home.
