Halla was growing more and more tipsy but she was enjoying herself, watching the other wolves mingle and flirt. Oh, there were some pretty faces!

Halla had spent her morning gathering valerian root. She'd had a few roots to show for her efforts, enough to make a tincture and for the other root she planned to express the juice of the fresh root into a vial. First she needed to clean and separate the root from the rest of the plant. Svala took the plants in her jaws and worked to free the root from the rest of the plant. Once that was done she took them near the water to rinse the dirt from them. Would the salt affect the properties at all.
