Ground Beef

The monochromatic wolf flew forward biting into the neck and Beat did the same, only his teeth locked around the base of the skull. Together, the two largest wolves brought the bison to the ground with their weight. A moment later the pup and the girl were there as well. Beat was amazed at the girls moves, but did his best to pay attention.

In time, the cow was dead. The pup seemed happy to be allowed to help and had done a number to the area where he'd bitten. Well... he was hoping to skin it, but there was no use for a hide with a hole. No matter. Settling in behind one meaty shoulder, Beat began to feed.
