Mortis had such an infectious laugh. Once he finally caved into her tickles Hanako couldn't help but join in with a satisfied giggle, just being with him like this was so easy. In the grand scheme of things they hadn't known each other for all that long but she felt as though she'd known him since puphood, that they'd grown up together and their company had changed one another for the better. If only. Hanako tutted in disapproval as Mortis gently nibbled her toes, he could have easily chomped them right off but the thought didn't even occur to the Wraith. The only danger Mortis posed to her was of the soft kind, that he'd probably squeeze her too hard with a hug or her tummy would ache after he made her laugh too much. Only good things. Once her toes were released Hanako flicked at his nose. Their deal was made and Hanako would hold him to his promise, or else.

Her given last name was terrible, Miss Fisher, really? But she played along and nodded, as though she was a gravelled elder who had struck a very important deal.
