He paused from the work now, taking a short break from the job and resting a bit. Now it was just to strip the meat from the body, cut it into pieces, and smoke it. It wouldn't be a long process, but he had a few minutes he could take a break so he was happy to do so. It wasn't like a rabbit had a load of meat on it, anyway.

At her offer of joining him on the next hunt he went on, he smiled and nodded. "Of course. Aslatiel knows all the good hunting spots around here, so I'll get some notes from her." The last time he'd gone hunting, the group had been ambushed by a group of angry hyenas. It wasn't something he wanted to happen again, especially when it included losing their meal. Of course Resin hadn't known of the looming pack, but it would be nice to know where not to go if there had been a large number of predator sightings lately.
