She watched carefully, and yet it was still a little daunting. The Archer-Lyall didn’t want to ruin the pelt after all their hard work, and yet here he was trusting her to work on the other side of the cat. It was a good thing the blade wasn’t longer, Sedna wasn’t sure what sort of pressure she would need to apply to slice through the skin and her first slice cut a little too deep. She hid her grimace by readjusting her knife to move more carefully until both feet matched those on the other side of the cat. Stepping back to look at her handy work her lines were a little wobbly, but that would improve with practice, she was sure.
