Hattori felt the pressure of her weight upon his back, as well as the stinging prick of claws digging into his skin. The snake tongue had already proved she was not just an average wolf but the claws cemented it as fact in his mind and made him wonder what other, if any, mutations were hiding in her dainty form. Regardless, he did not make it easy for her. Another wolf might have aimlessly tried to shake her off, but Hattori's fighting style- the same could be said of most Iga wolves- was sharp and concise, aiming to finish the fight in the least amount of moves possible. He reared his head back, aiming to give her butt a sharp poke and then another, harder, jab just to get his point across. As for the nip to his tail, Hattori simply endured it without batting an eye as he turned and rolled his shoulders, once again free from the burden of her weight.

Going on the offensive, Hattori's talons dug into the sand and he threw a pawful at her face, most notably her eyes. Hattori, like all shinobi, didn't fight fair. He would do whatever was in his power to gain the advantage, and whilst this spar was nothing personal it was his intention to get this point across. As soon as the sand was sent flying Hattori took full advantage of the distraction and dove in low again, aiming to knock her off her paws.
