She smiled a little to his confirmation and she gave a simple, "Wonderful," in reply. She settled into her usual defenses with her paws in a slightly widened, more stable stance, her knees bending slightly, toes and claws gripping the ground, while her tail was tucked neatly out of the way and her ears folded back agains there head. Once she had her head tucked over her throat and her shoulders rolled forward a bit to bunch her scruff around her neck then she gave him a small nod to show she was ready. He wasted no time, something she certainly appreciated, and she watched him carefully as he came rushing toward her.

When his chest connected with her shoulder, she quickly used that momentum to side step and duck out of the way of his outstretched jaws, making a quick hop back from him to recenter her balance. She kept herself low to the ground to give her more room to maneuver since he was a far bit taller than her and used that to her advantage to more easily escape his reach. She then darted back toward him again with her jaws aiming for his right leg, hoping to get a hold of the limb so she could pull it out from under him.
