Bear Bonanza

Lynvarr moved carefully, taking one step and then another. He felt like he was moving in slow motion as he tried not to attract the anger of the female grizzly. Just when he thought he might be able to sneak past her she suddenly charged. She was massive! Lynvarr dove between the bear's legs, slamming into her left hind leg with his chest, his fangs tearing into flesh wherever he could find purchase. The sudden strike caused the bear to lose her balance and she tipped forward, crashing into the dirt. With a roar of fury she got to her feet and whirled around, chasing after Lynvarr as he dove for the cave. He was almost certain he was going to make it…

Then another bear showed up. This was a massive male brown bear with a broken tooth and he ran with incredible speed, quite literally bearing down on Lynvarr. Lyn had no choice but to scramble to the side and out of the way of the next attacking bear. He hoped to circle back to the cave but now the bear was in his way. He eyed the female grizzly but she'd wandered off. Hell, she didn't seem like she wanted to get in this male's way either. Lynvarr's ears flicked back as he eyed the bear.
