Bear Bonanza

Káti tore into the bear's belly, ripping through fur and fat and into the flesh below. Blood soaked his mouth and bear roared in pain before falling forward. He saw the downward motion of the bear and leapt but not before it partially fell on him, pinning his hips and hind legs beneath its massive bulk. Káti wiggled and twisted as he tried to work his way out from underneath the bear. Thankfully the jaguar clawed the bear in the face, forcing it to get back to its feet so and giving Káti the space he needed to get out from under the bear. His back ached but nothing was broken. He limped a little as he watched the bear continue to back up, swiping at its face from the pain the jaguars claws had caused.

With one bear down another took its place. A large female brown bear with a honey-colored coat had decided she had enough of the ruckus. She lumbered toward him and the jaguar, her fangs glistening with saliva as she roared and stomped her front legs onto the ground to show she meant to tear them apart.
