Tamsyn gave Aranea a surprised glance when the pale woman mentioned that she had been pregnant before, but smiled happily in response. She was always surprised to see who around her had been a mother before when it wasn't incredibly obvious or they didn't actually live with their children. Resin was a prime example of that - if she hadn't known Resin's story or known about her daughter that lives in the Armada then she wasn't sure she ever would have guessed that she had pups. Aranea seemed like a more gentle soul so it wasn't too much of a stretch to believe that she had been a mother, but it was still new information all the same. "I'm sure this isn't a feeling you'd ever forget," she commented with a light laugh, her tail brushing lightly against the ground behind her.

All in all it had been a pretty smooth pregnancy once the heavy morning sickness toward the beginning and the nightmares had passed. Once she got to about the middle of it all things were pretty smooth sailing. Now it was just the physical toil of carrying all these pups around that she was having to deal with. "I'm happy that you came to join us," she added after a beat of silence, offering her friend another smile. "We've had a lot of new faces join us since we started this whole thing and it's kind of nice to have someone I already know. I hope you'll like it here."
