Bear Bonanza

Lynvarr twisted sharply, diving into the den, the sudden motion causing the bear to skid past the opening as it tried to follow the wolf. Lynvarr spied the pup and grabbed it by the scruff, racing back to the entrance. He leapt out of the den just as the bear attacked, its fangs ripping through his scruff but failing to get a hold. Lynvarr winced but kept running. The bear gave chase. It was like a mine-field of bears. Some watched the chaos while others ignored it in favor of catching as many fish as possible. Lynvarr could feel the snaggle-toothed bear getting closer. Lynvarr leapt to the side and skidded to a stop as the bear sailed paste him right into the river. It roared and sputtered, scrambling out of the water but by that time Lynvarr was long gone, racing to take the pup back to its family and get as far away from the bears as possible.
