This Guy Has Some 'Isms" I've Never Even Heard Of

Shilah's chatter soon died down as they started climbing up another mountain. There was way to much climbing for his taste but he didn't want to let the other man down so he watched where he was putting his feet. The clouds were growing darker and moving farther south. Judging by the direction of the wind the front was going to head right for them. Shilah scrambled over the rocky terrain, wincing a little as he watched the stones and loose gravel roll on down the mountainside. This was a perilous climb indeed. He didn't want to get too distracted but he couldn't help but listen to Lynvarr as the other man explained that his marriage was not a set deal. It seemed to be a brokering between two families or groups. A practice he was familiar with though he had since escaped. He'd been promised to a woman he did not love and had made the escape into nomadic life. Shilah tipped onto his hind legs and used his claws to mark the same tree Lynvarr had, seeking to add his own mark to their path. He was growing too tired to mess with his map and he doubted very much he'd want to return to this mountain range.
