The Bullfrog was certainly terrifying but Muzet wasn't quick to back down. Maybe the scare and exhaustion had gotten to her, or the plant acid ran into her brain. But either way, the toad's cowardly attempt at an attack was surprising. And even more so to the fact that the skull would collide and actually break her leg. She'd step on her leg a couple times, seeing it wasn't ideal to walk on but would somehow muster the strength to make it past the evil humored frog. She still tried to walk on her leg, but was met by a limp of excruciating pain each time she tried and mostly hopped on her other front. She'd wince at the sight of something magical in front of her, a creepy and daring creature pointing at her and stating truly facts about what Muzet had done. She couldn't really argue with the upright lady and was in no condition to run. If she hurt her leg anymore it would probably be better removed. Her chanting was a bit scary, as was the entire adventure through the swamps. She'd try to quietly interrupt the lady, but also not really wanting to piss her off especially after her encounter with the bullfrog. "Um.... Sorry but I- No one was around and I was thirsty and uh-" Poorly executed obviously which was very unlike Muzet. She was typically very articulate and put thought into more important situations but here she seemed like a scared child. "I think I already kind of got what I deserved..." She'd lift her paw even though she already held it off the ground and not to mention the numerous scratches that invaded her legs and the burn across her face. It seemed even Karma was after her when she took the vial. It would at least be safe to say she learned her lesson. Don't take stuff or drink from cult circle fountains or maybe just don't go into ghostly spooky forests ever. Muzet chooses option 2: Explain and Apologize |
