Hyacinth was admittedly not prepared for the sudden whump of pine needles being deposited from the sky and he glanced up suddenly, narrowing his eyes to try and see if he could spot anything that might normally knock the needles off the tree. But alas he would not be so successful. Okay so he was about to be shown up, but that was just fine by him. He'd rather not be left to wander a forest all by himself for the rest of his life, at the very least he'd probably survive, there seemed to be small prey all around and the trees would likely provide a decent amount of shelter, though he wondered how cold it would get here in the winter months. "Maybe you could leave items behind on branches?" Hyacinth mused aloud as he followed behind the older man. What he wasn't sure, fur maybe, but he wasn't about to pluck his own hairs out just to make a trail. The trees were starting to thin and he couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
