As the others piled on, the moose went down, and Cairo finished her with a swift rip of his jaws over her throat, releasing it and stepping back as the moose went limp. He grinned at the others, nodding as introductions were traded.

”Good hunt, everyone. Any preference of cuts?” This he added to Wyndelin and Halla as the woman dug in. He glanced north thoughtfully, wondering if they’d want the hide or any bones.

Turning back he asked the two loners, “So what brings you two to the area aside from a good hunt?”

Maybe they had stories from travels as loners, either entertaining or informative.
