In the distance he could see a few seagulls gliding through the sky and a little grab scuttled quickly into the water. Summer was such a wonderful season, so full of life. It was hard to believe autumn was so close and winter would be following close behind. His ears flicked back at the sound of someone approaching and he turned to see his lovely wife. Immediately a smile leapt to his face and he leaned down to nuzzle her gently.

"Much better, thanks to you. I can put my full weight on the leg without pain now. The muscles are a bit weak and a bit stiff but I think a good walk each day will do me good. Would you like to join me?" He enjoyed walks but they were always better with company, especially such lovely company.
