Come doused in mud, soaked in bleach

Lurid had not expected the male to respond the way he had, she had expected a fight or his own snapping teeth meeting hers. It would have been fully for him to behave in such a base manner before the moonlit goddess. Genuine, bubbling, duo-toned laughter filled the cavernous room, 'What a tease.'  He'd half-jested, giving Lurid a smile even as she responded. "More of a tease than a male with a fresh wound to his equipment?" Her porcelain head cocked to the side, "If you wish to escort me, I will not stop you. But, I want you to listen to...an idea I have had rolling around in my mind for quite some time. And, well, you seem to be just the sort of wolf I would need to help me."

She waited before she moved to leave the catacombs with him, those white and lavender holographic eyes locking with his own dark gaze with a piercing stare. It was not an aggressive look, more the stare of someone fully expecting an answer. She would need wolves like this one, those who seemed lost with no direction or understanding of themselves. The ones who hid monsters beneath their skin, the demons who didn't fit in, those who would be otherwise considered taboo and asked to hide their true selves. As long as they got along with each other, that would be the real trick in the beginning. Lurid wondered if the male would even be willing to help her in her endeavor, but she hoped so.
