Afterparty for Sad People
Lachlan

At last, Abby got what she asked for as she glanced at him to see what she assumed to be welling tears. It was, admittedly, a little weird to be so relieved at making someone cry, but she was certain that he needed it. He leaned against her, and the mottled girl realised how often awkwardness and emotional intimacy tended to intertwine. She'd safely catergorise the past few minutes as agonising and confusing, but as Lachlan and her sat in the warm quiet she found herself enjoying the moment, though the word enjoyment felt shallow. The feeling was hard to describe, so she didn't. She settled with a simple 'This is nice.' And it was.
She wouldn't disturb the moment, interrupt the calm. It was fine as it was. She felt that all she needed to say had been said, so she decided not to waste anymore words.
-end?-

Abby is completely blind as of this thread. The curse will lift on the first day of winter.
Abby has a common brush tailed possum companion named Bell. She’s Abby’s guide dog until her curse is lifted. If she’s not mentioned assume she is close by/present.
