Wyndelin worked his teeth carefully around the edge of the stump, peeling at and loosening the bark in the rough shape of the border he wanted. It was going to take some time but if some of the edges were a bit goofy he could always trim those down a bit. Wynd pulled on the bark a bit, working his claws under it to test the shape.

He took a break, licking the wood bits out of his teeth. Moving back over to the braided strands he set a rock on the knot and slowly began to move the right strand over the middle then the left over the new middle. He worked back and forth, making progress on the braid. He looked up as if to say something to the other man but felt suddenly too shy to speak.
