Stjarna eyed the strange animals that were grazing on the plains. The wolf made sure to stay down low, out of sight from the muscular, bison-like animals (Gaur). They looked like bison that were missing most of their fur but with larger horns and in some ways even more muscular. Star didn't know the proper way to hunt these animals though they assumed it would be similar to bison as something that bulky would likely begin to over heat and tire the harder it was forced to run. Like bison, Star assumed the biggest risk would be in the Gaur turning to stand their ground and fight. Either way it would be a risky hunt for one wolf, let alone one wolf accompanied by a pup, even if the pup was on the verge of 9 months old. Star glanced over to Úlfr and hesitated to say whether or not they should continue. The older wolf did not want to get eaten by the boys mother.
