Stjarna leapt after Úlfr as the young wolf started them off, sneaking toward the herd at first before bursting out of the grass to startle the gaur into running. Their hooves thundered against the ground. The sound seemed to make the ground shake beneath the wolf's paws. Star sprinted ahead, eyes fixed on the wounded cow. The wolf was faster than the gaur and Star sought to start steering the cow away from the rest of the herd, fangs snapping at the front left leg of the cow. She twisted her head sharply to the left side. Star slowed to avoid the horns then picked back up, steering the cow away from the herd. Once she was separated the cow slowed and then turned, thrashing her head violently as she chose to fight rather than run. Well, crap. Stjarna barked, seeking to draw the cows attention from the other wolves and especially from the younger one.
