Stjarna worked northward, seeking to explore a bit more of the northern regions before the winter came in and made the region even more difficult to traverse. Star peered down into a cove of black sand. It reminded him much of the Obsidian Beach though the sand here was duller and more matte. Though that could've been from the clouds covering he sky. Star trotted down to the beach and started walking along the coastline. Star couldn't help but walk closer until their paws were dancing through the chilly water. It was cold here in the north, much colder than it had been on the Obsidian Beach during the party.
Star was enjoying the walk so much that they didn't even notice when something big and dark stared swimming toward them. All of a sudden a massive leopard seal surged up out of the water. Fangs aiming right for the wolf. Star yelped in surprise and scrambled out of the way as the teeth snagged a clump of his fur and pulled it right out.
