Her Shinobi was patient but Venom was not. She hated how slow she was forced to be, and how much it pained her when she tried to go too fast. This was going to be the longest season of her life. She was tormented by her body, especially now as she leaned so heavily against Hattori. Wherever they touched felt like liquid flame instead of fur, but whenever she found herself getting too excited she’d take an extra couple fast steps and the pain was enough to cool her off. For all of five minutes.

There was an odd kind of relief when the sight of Hela’s den eventually reached her eyes. It seemed that most of the pack had deemed to make their home in the shrine despite the huge cave system that was the palace. The journey was rough to say the least but Hattori was quick to lay the thick fur on the ground so she wasn’t forced to do so with her injured leg. By now the whole pack would be aware of her injury. ”Thank you, Hattori.” Venom wasn’t sure that she’d ever blushed before but as her gaze skimmed over his she felt her cheeks flush. Her eyes widened slightly in surprise as she swiftly returned her attention to the task at hand.

”Aunt Hela?” She asked softly, head tilted curiously. ”Congratulations on your litter.”
