To say Viper was insulted was not necessarily true regardless of how she responded. But her ego was hurt given the fact that she had proved herself wrong time and time again. She had let Jupiter down, she didn't know a lot that she should. Her life of solitude had warped her mental growth not that she was entirely aware of that. But she wasn't one to just lay out her faults and weaknesses. Not that she felt like she had any.

Abilene would ask what she didn't know and though it would have been a difficult question for anyone to answer, Viper would see herself as better than how the woman looked down on her. "I know lots of stuff!" She'd argue though not enough to point out anything. Her attitude could have matched her lowly cell, but the dent in her ego she tried her best to subside. If Abilene related her to a punk ass little pup, she wasn't far off. Though, to Viper's defense, it wasn't wholly her own fault.
