What A Wicked Game You Played
Kichi

Kichi was getting very talented at escaping the watchful eye of Lurid’s polar bear and giving himself time to roam as he liked. Kichi was approximately six months old. Truth was all he really had to do was run off and leave the bear with its lurching gait behind, but that would have been too easy. Kichi made a game instead out of the bear not seeing where he went nor being able to easily follow a scent. The grey and white pup was getting quite good at making it hard to follow him. All in the name of fun, and disliking the bear. Where was Lurid? Where was Alastor? They had both been gone longer than Kichi had expected and while he could have fun when focused on a task the moment his mid was given the freedom to ponder he felt worry creeping in. What if they didn’t come back? His parents had died, what if Lurid and Al had now as well? No, they wouldn’t. They were just taking a super long for some other reason. Kichi had no cat claws for climbing but he sure spent a lot of time around trees and too much time with just a bear for company. So he had also taken trying to run up a tree to entertain himself. If the tree had any amount of an angle to it the young pup was getting good at charging up with a straight run and leaping technique. So it was he had found a tree that was indeed tilted to a degree, large roots sticking out as a crevice for small animals to hide in. A few lunging strides and he made it to a brunch. Maybe he would surprise Lurid when she finally came back and jump down on her from a tree! He’d have to ask Al to help make sure she got near one Kichi could get upon. Front up in the tree he spotted something unexpected. Another wolf pup? Kichi had no experience with other pups so this was something interesting for sure. He was torn between excitement, wariness, and a general sense of not knowing how to feel about it. “Hey there!” Kichi called out deciding he’d worry about that after meeting her. Glancing down he wrinkled his nose a bit. Getting up was a lot easier than getting down. Paws splayed out as far as they could he tried to slowly walk down but ended up rolling down with an ‘oof’ sound at the bottom. The tree got a glare before he shook his coat out to look in the direction where he’d seen her. The view had been much better in the tree. "Speech" Think |
