Hyperion was carefully picking his way up the side of the fjord. He was working on yet another map and in his time of practice he'd learned a thing or two. They no longer looked 100% like trash. Nah, he'd managed to get that knocked down to a solid 60%. Which just meant he could look at them without wanting to throw them into a fire immediately. They still weren't the sort of thing he would claim as his and if any of his siblings caught sight of them he'd deny they were representations of his current skill level.
On today's exploring and mapping quest was the dreaded Fjord. This steep bastard was challenging. It was no Briar; it was a blessing he wasn't getting torn to bits by thorns and brambles; but it had challenges of its own. If he was just a touch more in shape maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but until very recently he was more the lounge around and only get up food and fun type.
He paused near a large unique outcropping and took out his map. A landmark like this was noteworthy, he'd learned. Best to sketch it out in charcoal before he forgot what it looked like. That he'd learned from experience.
