Hyacinth didn't really think of himself as being big, obviously, he was, he was the tallest of his siblings but he'd always felt more like a dancer than a fighter but if he'd taken ten seconds to think about it obviously he'd still have to weigh more to not be underweight. Still, he couldn't help but feel like the man was showing off a bit as he wandered over to him, his limbs remaining conspicuously free from the muck. "I mean it's just fur if you end up pulling that out, all I care about is to avoid damaging the face." He chuckled, still trying to make the best of the worst-case situation he'd found himself in. He watched with open curiosity as the stranger grabbed first a vine, then a branch. Not much else he could do after all. He nodded as the man offered him instructions. He picked up his end of the vine, working it in his mouth until he felt he could hold on well.

He braced as the vine pulled taut, fighting the instinct to pull backward on it, instead, he tried to let his limb go as limp as possible, only flexing in such a way he could avoid letting himself be dragged painfully, slowly, oh so slowly, his leg started to pull free. Carefully he started to rock his limb a little, working it loose from the ground. Hyacinth inched closer and closer to the branch as he worked himself free, placing his free paw on the wooden surface to try and leverage his other limb free. It was incredibly slow, he couldn't pull too hard and had to also try and make it clear to his companion that he had to let up when he got particularly stuck, but eventually, eventually his forelimb slid free with a wet sucking noise. Then almost too quickly he hurried across the wooden branch bridge to the safe ground the other man was standing. Then he nearly collapsed, panting and his heart pumping. "Thanks man." Hyacinth panted.
