Her new life was hard to adjust to. There was all the traveling here and then meeting new wolves that she never even knew existed. And now she had to get used to the colder temperatures of the north. She couldn't deny she was hardly happy or excited with the new arrangements but she would do whatever she had to do to make daddy happy, no matter how much she didn't like it. It was hard, but she was getting used to it. Maybe her young body was easier to overcoming the different climate and harder terrain.

Kefka had found a cave along the side of the Col for them to call home. It wasn't very easy to trek to and it would be hard for any lone wolves to find them and potentially hurt her or Kefka. Which is why he decided to call it home at least during the night. He even took the extra time to keep animal skins around the den to keep them warm instead of laying on the hard stone surface. It wasn't too cold yet and Relm had yet to experience the other seasons especially winter, so Kefka was keen on keeping the fancy skins off some of his kills.

They had just come back from their day exploring, or rather Kefka adulting and fathering and Relm exploring. Kefka always escorted Relm in and out of the Col for her safety and she wasn't scared of the rocky slopes and heights, but she wouldn't mess around when they rose from the grassy surface below. She gave a big stretch when they entered the den, not ready for bed but would go to settle down on her special skin from dad. Kefka took a shake as he entered the den and would go to join beside her on his own skin. Relm used to curl up along the belly of the pink lady, not that she held any attachment to her or the memories of her. But Kefka seemed to be a lot more distant. Maybe more distant than a normal father or the kind of father he acted  like outside the den. Relm wouldn't let her feelings get hurt over it but sometimes she just wanted a cuddle buddy to curl up to and Kefka didn't want that kind of affection with her. She would think it to be a normal action to think that all father's gave their pups or daughters, so Relm wouldn't question it out loud at least.

As they settled, relaxing as the cool night surrounded the den, the thoughts that had overwhelmed her the last couple days would come to mind. And where she was usually very open to him, she kept these thoughts well hidden from him even if she spoke freely to Kichi about them. "Daddy?" She spoke out softly, a slight worry in her voice that she failed at hiding. It was too late to take back now. "Why did... The pink lady... Why did she have to die?" She had more fear of him rejecting her question or being mad at her for asking. It wasn't because she felt any kind of loss for Agria. But the only death she saw in her days were the prey that they ate, so the death and especially the abandonment of the body was something she didn't understand.
