She'd only smile when he was done explaining. She had to wait to know more? That was pretty annoying. But she knew her father knew what was best for her and wouldn't prod at it. She wished there was a fast forward button so she could know everything. But he said she would feel when she was ready to know more so if she just hit skip than would she have gone too far? Patience would be hard until then. She'd rise off the floor to join him on his animal skin, curling up beside his shoulder and armpit with a content grin on her face. Her blind side in towards him so she could see the mouth of the den in case someone wandered through in the middle of the night. She deserved a little cuddle time, right? It felt like it had been so long since she felt the warmth of another wolf and the heat would make her feel at peace and ready to go to sleep. |
