Dry Bones

Jynn would've been glad to escape out of the maze if it weren't for the strange land that now lay before her. To the north of the maze lay a vast and barren land. Dried remnants of shrubs and bushes stood like dark silhouettes against the cracked ground, contrasting the pale bones that littered the top of the ground. They were as numerous as the plants.

The weather had also taken a turn. No longer was she greeted by sunny skies. Jynn looked ahead to see dark storm clouds had rolled in, casting a strange dusty gray haze. She turned to look at the colorful man she'd met in the maze. "Well… onward and upward?" Hopefully there wouldn't be any tricks or traps in this territory and they could get through it quickly before the storm unleashed its wrath.
