Kite wasn't a member of the pack. Not really. He had originally intended to be a temporary fixture but things hadn't quite worked out like that. Octave drew him in. Made him want to stay. The past year had been glorious, to say the least. He spent his days learning about herbs and healing from Octave and Noko and he spent his nights wrapped up in the larger man's embrace. What more could a guy ask for? Well... he knew the answer to that, actually.

Wolf after wolf arrived at the meeting. Kite hasn't realized that Abaven had so many members. All of his attention was for the pale man beside him. He hoped that their numbers would increase today. He hadn't told Octave, but Kite was going to ask the alpha for membership. He was already here. Might as well make it official. Kite couldn't wait to see the look on his companions face.
