We are the warriors of tomorrow
for all pups or anyone who wants to learn

"Come on, Rudy, we're gonna be late!" Artorias shouted back to his monochromatic brother, bouncing and running as fast as his puppy legs could carry him. He yapped eagerly as he led the way towards the falls where Resin had told them to go to meet their new fighting instructor. Artorias had never been so ready for a lesson in all his life! Everything else had always been boring, with him and his brother often running off to play or explore on their own. But this... this was fighting! It was everything the boy had wanted to learn since forever!
This was it. A journey of a thousand miles always began with a single step, and today marked the first step in a long road for young Artorias. Since he had been old enough to speak and to listen, he had been enthralled with the stories his mothers told him and his siblings about their days as mighty warriors, powerful knights devoted to the protection of their packs and their loved ones. The tales of gore and glory had captivated the awestruck pup, and it was then that he knew where his destiny lay. Artorias would follow in his mothers' pawsteps, dedicating his life to the protection of his kin. So long as he drew breath, no creature or force in this world would do harm to those he loved. But while the fantastical daydreams of a mighty wolf warrior tearing through swaths of his enemies filled his head, the small pup knew he had a lot of work to put in to make that fantasy a reality. And that work began today.
At his mother Resin's urging, Artorias had gone to find Rudy and sought out the tri-colored male—what was his name again, Dunkan?—at one of the glades surrounding the waterfalls and pools that made up a bulk of his homeland. The black and blue coated boy saw the larger man setting up their training arena, preparing for his students. Excitement welled up in his fiery amber eyes. This was it! His first official fighting lesson! He gave a yap back at Rudyard, making sure his brother was keeping pace, but knowingly staying a few leaps ahead so he couldn't get tackled by the rambunctious boy. Without a trace of nervousness or shyness, Artorias padded up to the adult man, ready to begin. "Hi, I'm Artorias!" he greeted his new instructor with a big smile and wagging tail. "Are you gonna teach us how to be the best fighters ever?"
