"Beat Destruction"

Beat nodded in agreement as Recluse spoke of her skin burning easily. His ears were quick to burn if he was out in the sun for too long. Thankfully his skin wasn't as pale as hers or he'd be in real trouble. The young man imagined having to live only at the edge of day and during the night. It sounded pretty lonely. Recluse admitted as much a short time later. The look that she gave him made the black and white lad swallow hard. "I'm sorry that you're lonely. I know how that is." He'd been alone for most of his life. There had been family, but the loss of his parents, then his guardian... it had taken its toll on the boy. Thankfully he was better now, but he had days where he felt small and broken like he had been before. Beaten.

With the conversation taking a somewhat sad turn, Beat sought to change the topic. "So, Recluse, what has you out this way? There isn't too much of interest here. Other than you, that is."Oh damn. A little tremor ran through him as he spoke. Beat didn't usually flirt because he was so bad at it, but he had decided to try. Would it bite him in the ass or would she like it?
