He was a little sad that his week of spending each of his days giving each of his children the one on one time they deserved was coming to a close. Of course he would probably do this again when time allowed, but he wished that this was all he had to do. Being a father had made him far happier than anything else in his life and the fact that he had been allowed the time to leisurely get to know each of their unique personalities was something he would always be grateful for. There was one more girl that needed his attention and he very nearly skipped half of his chores in order to go spend time with her. He didn’t, he completed them begrudgingly, but he was certainly tempted. When he got back to their den he noticed that the brindled pup was no where to be found so he went looking around the near by area for a bit till he found just the girl he was looking for. He grinned and trotted over to her, leaning down to gently nuzzle her shoulder with his nose. The fact that they were so tiny still astounded him. “There you are, Everlyse! I was looking for you. What are you up to?” |
