Being completely alone might have unnerved the small silver and black child but the truth was he really did not understand. He did not realise his mother whom had brought him this far not only into this world but also into the woods had left him. Likely gone for good. Reality had no sunk in yet for him as he sat alone peering up at the canopy above and his mothers words replaying over in his head. If you want food you will have to stay here. There are packs nearby and one might take you. I cannot feed the both of us anymore. I'm sorry... It was tradgic but all he could think about with a growl from his empty stomach was how nice it would be to get some food.
As the late afternoon sky was slowly creeping toward darkness a thin veil of fog was beginning to blanket the ground, his attention now turning towards his ebony socked paws he could no longer see. Gasping slightly to himself he begun lifting his forepaws up one at a time to reveal them as if they had popped back into existence before stamping down on the soft earthy ground once again. At least he'd found something to preocupy himself away from his ebbing hunger pains.
