Kaija wasn't totally sure about this lady just yet. She was a lot different than her mom and dad, but it was a rarity that her mom wasn't trying to kick them all out of the den and out of her fur, so the prospect of actually being invited somewhere was pretty exciting. The good mood seemed to ripple through the kids, and Kaija was no exception, swinging her tusked head from side to side as she barrelled after Aurielle across the plains. She was growing, and quite fast too; before long she would surely outgrow her mother, and eventually at least one of her siblings, already quite bulky for a child.
She wasn't too excited by the little den tour, but she was excited to go on an adventure. "Arne! Fi! Last one there's a rotten egg!" She shouted after her siblings, completely oblivious as to where they were - or if they were even behind her at all - as she chased after Aurielle, reaching out to grab hold of her waving tail, to no avail. "Hares? Are they scary?" She asked, coming to a skidding halt as her eyes widened dramatically. Hunting sounded fun, especially since all she'd ever really hunted were bugs right outside the mouth of their family den, chasing them as they tried to fly off and hop away, almost always moving more quickly than she was able to.
