A simple wager

The paw upon his soft cheek was a rude wakeup call, but nothing he wasn't accustomed to already from his siblings. He squeaked an alarmed noise of protest, peeling his eyes open to glare out sleepily at his attacker. The sour mood didn't remain for long, and he bounded to his feet in one motion as Skadi challenged him to a duel. "Those are high stakes." The pup declared seriously, turning his lips into a thoughtful frown of consideration. It was all for show - after all, the higher the stakes the better as far as Fin was concerned and there was no way he'd be caught dead kissing pit-Viper on the nose. "You're on."

Fin bounded a few strides away from his sister to put some distance between them, turning to face her and spreading his limbs wide in preparation. He wore a wide excited grin, his tail slashing through the air behind him. While he might have stood a better chance of winning if he'd initiated the fight without giving her time to prepare, Fin wanted to see Skadi kiss the pit-Viper so badly that he wasn't going to risk being called a cheater and having the duel declared a draw. "No turning back now!" He warned.
