Ellery was becoming too close for comfort, and if he didn't move soon, he risked getting caught by her big-ass bear paws. Not only that, but she continued to only make good, level-headed points. She was so difficult to get turned around, unlike so many others. It made her less fun to play with, and if they hadn't been packmates he might've been a lot more avoidant of her and a lot less friendly. As it were, he really did like Ellery, and somehow that was what made this enjoyable nonetheless. Still, it was clear; their little interaction was coming to it's end.
