She'd assumed that at least part of the reason that Valkyrie had chosen a young, virile man for her husband was to ease the way to a litter or two before her aging body could no longer carry pups, yet her new husband had shied away from any sexual contact. It was... odd, to say the least, but Alfrun did not have experience with sexual matters, and perhaps she was misinterpreting something. Or perhaps it was time to take more... drastic measures.
She was within the well-appointed den that her husband had provided, stripping the dried leaves from a mint plant in preparation for crumbling it into the storage jar, occasionally crooning to the raven perched over her, when her husband called. She paused in her movements, then set aside the mint and rubbed her cheek against Tanken's beak before slipping out of the den, hoping to catch her husband this time before he could disappear. "Good day, Jupiter," she said calmly, her ethereal voice somewhat firmer than usual. "Won't you join me?" She sought intently to force him to meet her gaze by moving in front of him fearlessly, her head tilted slightly. She let the Othersight's swirls of color surround Jupiter without paying them much mind, fixing her odd-colored gaze on his own bright eyes instead. She rather doubted that her visions would do any particular good in a situation such as this, where the gods would undoubtedly expect her to figure it out on her own.
