Áskell resisted the urge to pepper the other youth with questions and instead focused on what he was doing. Once he set his projects aside to dry he could turn his attention to conversing. With the clay dial flattened, Áskell worked at tracing a design into the clay with his claws. He used his claws to make little dots at the top and then horizontal lines at the bottom.

Turning his attention to the pot he decided to try decorating the outside of it in a similar manner. He took his claws and carefully pressing in dots on the top half of the pot. Then he went back and scratched in lines at the bottom of the pot. He grinned, tail wagging at his work. This was going to be a beautiful pot and he couldn't wait to show it off to his father and brother.
