Any sense of anticipation Ophie felt soon rushed away when it dawned on her that this would be a free for all, that her sister wouldn't have her back. Her ears flicked back as her lips twisted into a worried frown as she took a cautious step back, neck and tail tucked as she glanced between the sparring pups, who would attack her first? Since it was a given that Ophie wasn't going to aim for the first blow. She nervously glanced over her shoulder at Natha, no doubt looking for reassurance, before turning her attention to the pup that had set it's sights on her. This was supposed to be all fun and games but Ophie felt as though there was a lot on the line, that the others would all laugh and mock her if she didn't hold her own. And what would her dad think if she lost? Would he be mad?

The Fireside pup rushed at little Ophie straight on, looming over her as she made to grab at the left side of the Fatalis' neck. Ophie eeped in alarm and scrambled to duck out of the way, knowing full well that if she let the stranger grab a hold of her neck it would be really hard to shake her loose. Taking advantage of her crotched posture and as quick as a whip Ophie struck out with her feline claws as she attempted to swat at Dagrún's reaching muzzle. That'd show em for trying to bite her, right?
