Samara might have mellowed out with age but Ruin certainly had not. As she grew she became all the more cunning, her mischief far more discrete and well thought out, as though she was a criminal playing the long con. With that said, her mother knew her well enough to see the potential storm looming on the horizon and Ruin pretended to be a good little girl as she trotted along by her mother's side, quietly biding her time. Soon enough they arrived at the borders, and Ruin put on a rather convincing show of listening intently, as though she'd turned over a new leaf and was ready to play nice like the rest of her siblings. That'd she be Suspense version 2.0 As if.

"Yes mumma." She agreed and then offered Samara's chin submissive lick or two, as though to subdue any concerns she might have. She knew she'd never be able to completely rid her mother of her lingering suspicions but it was always fun to keep her on her toes nonetheless. That was a game in and of itself.
