One paw at a time, Sota reminded himself as he carefully began to climb a thick vine in the midst of the Soullest Forest. Climbing, while not the greatest idea given his current state, was something he'd been itching to do again - and this forest provided a relatively safe place to get a small taste of it. The ground below was soft and pliable, coated with thick moss that was no doubt softer than the hard ground when he'd fallen last. He wouldn't go terribly high, either - he just needed to get a little higher than ground level. All but ignoring the eerie aura of the foggy woods, Sota climbed, creeping slowly up the vine. This place gave him the perfect avenue to begin to stretch his recovering leg; this section of forest was rife with moss and vines, ideal for a small wolf like himself to partake in some climbing.
He hadn't felt quite so free in some time. He was hardly far off the ground, especially for a wolf any larger than himself - but he stood a good six feet in the air now, just above the thick fog. Sota hardly had a view of anything at all, save for the thick vines that tangled all around him, but going back to his roots felt calming in a way he hadn't realized he needed, even if only in a small way. A smile touched his lips as he carefully spun himself around, still clearly favoring one of his legs over the other, but the break was healing slowly but surely.
