Time away from the kids

The reminder of those they'd left behind on the mainland to supervise their cluster of puppies did it's part in reassuring her, and she nodded her head quietly in reply. Mortis and Hana were both among the kindest of wolves, her children would do well beneath their watch. Perhaps if their first litter had had better role models to emulate things could have turned out differently with them, too.

Zee's eyes grew sad as Sirius mentioned his last trip to the isle, to collect materials for Indy's greenhouse. With her big purple fluffy boy gone a piece of her heart felt like it was gone as well. Even only territories away, she felt she'd failed him somehow when he'd decided to leave them. "Asla's been gone more often then not lately, too." She murmured. "I wish I knew what to do." The reaper candidate had been so enthusiastic about the potential for promotion, though the passion had seemed to be snuffed from her as her little siblings were born. It made her want to hold onto the little ones even harder, out of fear they'd one day drift away too.
